I felt like myself again by about week six. Not dramatic, just steadier through the whole week.
Rachel M.
It came on gradually rather than all at once, and my provider adjusted the dose when things levelled off.
Danielle P.
The afternoon fog is the thing that lifted first. None of it turned my week into a second full time job.
Marcus T.
I had put it down to getting older and just lived with it. Something shifted in the first couple of months.
Angela R.
Eight months in and it has stopped feeling like treatment. It just feels like how I am now.
Priya S.
The first two weeks were harder than I expected and I nearly stopped. My provider adjusted the plan and it settled from there.
Simone W.
I put it off for years because I did not want to sit in a waiting room. I started from my kitchen table on a Sunday.
Derek L.
It is not one dramatic thing. I get through the whole day now without hitting a wall at three o'clock.

FAQ

Common
questions

What does hormone replacement involve?

A provider, a protocol, a check in. You complete an intake, a licensed provider reviews it and decides whether treatment is appropriate, and if it is they set the form, the amount and the schedule. You check in as you go and the plan is adjusted around how you respond.

Injection, cream or tablet, which one?

Your provider decides. They are different routes with different rhythms. Which of them, if any, is appropriate for you is a clinical decision your provider makes with you based on your history and your goals, rather than something you pick off a shelf.

Do I need insurance to get started?

No. Science & Co is a cash pay service with transparent pricing, so there are no claims to file, no prior authorizations, and no surprise bills. Your plan covers the provider evaluation, your medication, and ongoing support.

Who prescribes my treatment?

A licensed provider. Every prescription is written by a provider licensed in your state, after a real clinical review of the intake you complete. They stay available for follow up as your plan continues, and nothing is dispensed without their approval.

How long until I notice a change?

It varies. Hormone treatment is not built around a fast visible result. Most people are tracking things like energy, mood, focus and sleep, and those tend to shift gradually over weeks rather than days. Your provider reviews how you are responding at each check in and adjusts from there.

Can I pause or cancel at any time?

Yes. There is no lock in and no cancellation fee. You can pause your plan if life gets in the way and pick it back up later, or cancel outright from your account.
