Compounded drug products are not approved or evaluated for safety, effectiveness, or quality by the FDA. Prescription required.

What is TB-500 used for?

Recovery from soft tissue injury. The research looks at tendon, ligament and muscle, and at how cells move into an area that's been damaged.

Is TB-500 the same as thymosin beta 4?

No, and it's worth getting right. Thymosin beta 4 is the full 43 amino acid protein. TB-500 is a 17 amino acid piece of it. The human data people quote, in corneal wounds and venous ulcers, comes from the full protein.

Where does my TB-500 come from?

A state licensed US compounding pharmacy prepares it for you, and every batch is third party tested for purity and potency. Compounded medications are not approved or evaluated by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Compounding pharmacies are licensed and inspected by state Boards of Pharmacy and are highly regulated. A prescription is required.

How it works

From first question to front door.

What you get with Science & Co

A treatment plan with dose adjustments when clinically appropriate, a quick online assessment reviewed by a licensed provider, secure messaging and scheduled check ins with your care team, and medication shipped cold packed to your door. Every plan includes supplies, shipping and ongoing clinical monitoring.

How to take it

A once weekly injection you give yourself, on the same day each week unless your provider tells you otherwise. You start low and step up on a set schedule, which gives your body time to adjust and keeps side effects manageable.

Potential side effects

The most common side effects are nausea, constipation and diarrhoea, and they usually settle as your body adjusts to each step up in dose. Your provider reviews how you are doing at every check in and can slow the schedule down if you need it.

How does Science & Co ensure quality and safety?

We work only with state licensed US compounding pharmacies. Every batch is third party tested for purity and potency, and you can request a Certificate of Analysis for your prescription at any time.

The weight came off steadily instead of all at once, and my provider adjusted my dose whenever the loss started to stall.

I am two sizes down and the clothes I had given up on fit again. None of it turned my week into a second full time job.

I spent years stuck at the same number on the scale. It started moving in the first month and it has not gone back up yet.

I have kept the weight off for eight months now. It stopped feeling like willpower and started feeling like a normal day.

INSIDE THE PROTOCOL

Start low. Adjust often.

Semaglutide is not a fixed dose you take and hope for. You start low, step up on a schedule your provider sets, and hold wherever your body is responding well. That is the part most people never get, and it is the part that makes it liveable.
The weight kept coming off even when my provider held the dose steady. Nobody pushed me to the next number just to chase a faster result.

FAQ

Common
questions

Why is TB-500 often paired with BPC-157?

They're the two names in the recovery conversation, so they're often used together. They're different molecules, and your provider decides whether combining them makes sense for you.

What does actin binding mean for TB-500?

Actin is the scaffolding cells use to hold their shape and move. This fragment is the part of the protein that binds it, which is why the research focuses on cells moving into damaged tissue.

Is TB-500 a growth hormone?

No, though it's often mistaken for one because it sits near growth factors on banned substance lists. It's a fragment of a structural protein, not a hormone.

Is TB-500 an injection or oral?

Injection. The published work uses injected TB-500, and the oral versions sold online have no research behind them.

How soon would I notice anything on TB-500?

It varies, and there's no large human trial of the fragment yet, so we won't promise a timeline. Your provider checks in on how you're responding and adjusts from there.

Can I use TB-500 if I'm a tested athlete?

No. TB-500 is prohibited at all times on the World Anti-Doping Agency list. If you're tested, check with your provider before starting anything.
